Project 8

Project 8 is the final project of the year. Since it's the last project so there's a lot to do. Everyone is making it unique in their all style and putting in the all works together. At first, I designed the website and thought it was good, but then I noticed that it was too colorful so it might district the audience so I changed the designed and made it simple. I believe the design I have now for my website is better. So I collected all the work and put in together. I had to create 10 business card, 10 logos, 10 ads, 15 photos, 10 animation and action script. It was a lot. Not everyone included all of the thing listed. I didn't add the ads because of short period of time. My final project wasn't as nice as the other because of the time and too much of work. I know the teacher has told us about it during the beginning of the school year, but no one has started that time because they were busy with the other labs and projects.

However, everyone tried their best to finish the final Portland make it as beautiful as they can.

All were putting their efforts to make it the best. At last I finished my project and was fair enough but could have done better. This project was the last project of the year and next year I won't be doing any project such this. I will miss doing project like this, but I tried my best to make it look nice. This project will help me a lot in the future because it teaches me how to manage time and put effort to succeed.

Project 7

Project 7 we had to either pick presidents or places to finish the website. Mostly everyone had fun while doing this project. They all were doing in a u owe style. I picked the presidents page. I thought the palaces page would be hard so I choose presidents pages instead. At first, I decided which presidents to choose since we had to choose four. I picked George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and Franklin Roosevelt. I choose them because they were one of the most popular president. Next I studied them and organized the storyboard.

I collected all the information about them and designed each and everypages. The least pages we were suppose to create was twenty. I created twenty five pages. After everything I uploaded it and submite it. I had fun while doing this project. I learned a lot about presidents while doing this project. I used Photoshop and Dreamweave for this project. It was something different from all the project. I believe this project will help me manage time in the future because there was time limited for this project.

10 facts about credit score

There are many facts about credit score but here are the top 10 facts about credit score.

1) If a person have high credit score that means they will earn more money.

2) Your credit report will drop if you settle a debt.

3) credit score and report are the different.

4) A persons credit score improves if they close their credit card.

5) If a person looks at their credit report again and again then it will lower their credit score.

6) A persons credit score will decrease if they don't pay their bills or any payments on time. 

7) A person can't have FICO credit score without credit history and for that they have to apply. 

8) Credit score affectes more than credit. 

9) Late payments are not usually reported until 30 days overdue.  

10) A person can always improve their credit score.

Interview

On April 12,2016 we participated in a mock interview. It was held by Ms. Debrah. At first when I heard about it I was really upset and mad because I didn't want to be part of it, but I had to anyway. Ms. Debrah told use to be prepare and come in a business attire. I hate business attire, but I had to wear it. Then the day came and I was nervous about what's going happen and how will I face it. Then when we entered the class we were told to search up some companies that were given to have some idea about it. Next Ms. Debrah picked four students to a how us how it will take place. After seeing my classmates interviewing style I was really excited to be part of it and do the same thing. Then we were told to pick a red or blue card where red represents the interview and blue represents the interviewer. I picked blue because I was excited to interview my classmates. So I interviewed about 6 people. After 6 interviews the interview and interviewer had to switch the position so I went up to 6 company for the interview. 

When they were interviewing me I felt like I was actually doing the real interview. I felt but confident since my classmates were taking my interview. It was such a great opportunity because I was actuality sharing my weakness and strength. Also it was really helpful for the future since we all have to go for an interview in the future. All credits goes to Ms. Debrah for giving us such opportunities. I would just like to say thank you.

Project 6

Before this project everyone in class had to do a lots of things. At first we all were assigned to research about the major that we want to see out self as in the future. I wanted to be an orthopedic so
I researched everything about it; the salary, how long does it take to become one, what is needed and etc. After researching I found it more interesting that I did before and I was like I really want to be that. After that we were told to sit with our parents at home and write down all the expense that are being spend every month or week. The reason behind it was to prepare us for the future. It will give us some idea of where and how the money is come home and how to spend it. Later on we researched more about our major. Then the next day the teacher divided the salary level into different groups within a table and whose ever salary would match they would sit there then work with the same level of salary people.

After all that we were told to build a website gives advises to people how to spend money and etc. Since we were assigned to design the web so we had to plan it out but to be honest I had no idea of what and how to design it. I was thinking for about one whole period to figure out a plan. Then I just put up something. I decided to make four page; homepage, advice page, balance budget page, and calculator page. I decided to make those page but had no idea of what to put in. Later on I decided to put a banner called finance in the homepage, menu bar and a picture. On the balance budget page I decided to put the banner, menu, and write why is it important to balance budget. The advice page I added a banner, menu bar and give advice to people of why saving money is important. Lastly one the calculator page I added a banner called welcome to the future, menu, and added a calculator. That's all I did for designing the webpage. While doing this project I had problem with everything. I didn't know what to do, how to do, how to start, etc.

I was lost and was planning at the same time. Later on I was actually done with almost everything except the calculator. No one in class had idea of how to make the calculator. We all were confused. Lastly I decided to take a screenshot of the calculator from the Google and link that to get access to that calculator. That's all I faced while doing this projects. Overall I feel like this project was great way to learn how to manager and spend. It was bit annoying and boring at first but later on it turned really great. It was really a good idea. I believe this will help me in the future because it gave us idea of how to use money and value money. Also we got change to make a website to help others and give advice to people of how to use, spend and value money. I liked doing this project and got idea of money as well. 

Calculation

Today March 14, 2016 the whole class was assigned to work on our needs and wants and see the expenses result. At first I was like what is this I pay nothing so how am I suppose to do this. However I just put in $0 for everything. Then the teacher came and was like its not what you pay, it also can be what your house members pays. I was like oh then let me just do that. After that I searched for that major that I decided to pick and the yearly salary. Since I decided to study about surgeon so I figured out that they earns $519,000 per year so I was like yeah it's too much money then the teacher was like no the government will cut the tax so we all had to go to smart assets to see how much tax will the government take then when I calculated then found out that they will cut about $222,597. Then I subtracted the yearly salary with the tax and whatever I got I divided that by 12 to find out the monthly salary. Before all that we had to calculate out needs ( gas, electricity, housing, food, etc.) and wants ( shopping, vacations, etc.) and calculated the expenses. Lastly I matched my expenses with my monthly salary and check how much can I save.

Why CTE Expo is important?

CTE stands for Career Technique based on Education. CTE Expor Takes place every years. During that time Everyone have to dress up professionally. It's basically takes place for freshman. The freshman's comes and all the sophomore, juniors, and seniors tells them about their technology class. We all have to explain the freshman really clearly and nicely with all the details so they could understand what is that class about, what we do, how is it and much more things. 

That day turns into like we are the businessmans and women's who are trying to sell their product to the client. We had to stand in a position with our projects and labs with confident and had to give good impression to the freshman's so they could understand what we are saying. So CTE Expo is important because by that all the freshman get chance to know and learn about the technology that their schools helds so they could have/get the opportunity to select that technology for their high school career. It is really interesting because during that day students explains other students about the technology that their school helds and students can understand and communicate in best way if they hear the exact meaning of something from the other students so it was really best way to explain the freshmans about the technology that they should and deserve to select in the future. 

Also by gelding CTE Expo it helps and it is easier for the freshman to choose which technology they want to choose  and which one is better for them. It is a great opportunity for the freshman to learn about the technology from the students and teachers. They gets the chance to see the past projects and labs that the students did and by showing these works the freshman might get more interest for selecting that academy. I find CTE really interesting, but I kind of feel embarrassed while explaining the freshman, but I don't let them feel that I'm uncomfortable I present my academy to them with confident and proudly.  

CTE Expo 2016

          On March 10, 2016 we all attend CTE Expo; web design, apple, and video production. We all had to dress up professionally and look nice. We had to explain the freshman about out CTE acadamy that this school provides which the freshmans can take to graduate with CTE diplomat. However all the CTE  students were in there room to present their CTE class to the freshman and tried their best to impress the freshmans so they can decide which CTE class to pick. So I was explaining the freshman about my CTE class, Web Design. As a result, a lot of students were impress by web design and they were planing to choose web design as their CTE class. All the web design students were assign to some specific periods so they can come to explain the CTE class to the freshman's.

         I had to come 5-6 periods because it was my regular period. I also had to choose two more period so I picked 2 and 4 period for extra help. Moreover when we all arrive the teacher assigned the juniors and seniors some computer where they can show their work and sophomore were assigned in a table. I got ready and took my position and when the freshman's arrived I talked to them and explain them about web design. I told them how my CTE class is better than others. Well all the CTE class is good, but as always everyone will only support their own academy. CTE Expo took place because our school is for technology school so basically all the students have to pick one academy for the school year since there are lots of students and less space only 34 student will be selected in each academy who will have high grade and will be able to get good recommendation from the teachers.

            There was sophomore,  junior, and senior. Senior, juniors and sophomores was assign in a specific place where they could talk to the students. The sophomore was assign in a table, the juniors and seniors were assigned in the computer but it was mixed up. It ended in a perfect and excited way because I really liked when I explained the student (freshman) about web design. I feel as I'm in the office where I'm explaining the client to impress then so they decides to join our academy. I fell really profession and most of the freshman were really nice. They listen to me and asked question to learn more about it and it seems like they actually like web design. It was a great day to help freshman to learn about our school technology.

Education level and Collage

           Education is one of the important thing in our life. We are nothing without education. It plays a major role in our life. The higher a person will study, the more successful they will be in the future and the more money they will get. For example if a person gets an associate degree and gets a job then they will get like $25-$35 per hour, but if a person gets an master degree and gets a job then they will get like $100-$300 per hour. By that examples it proves that the higher a persons education level will be the more money that person will get. Also collages plays a moodier role in our life as well because if you get enroll to some famous collage then you will get job easily and in a better place. For example if a person from Hunter collage and a person from York collage goes for a interview and they have the same GPA then the person from hunter collage will get the job and the person from the York collage won't because hunter is more popular and much better than the York collage. However education level and collage is really important for us so it's better to make a career plan list to succeed in the future. It influence our life a lot.

Career Zone

          

          Today we all went over the career zone which helped everyone to figure out their interest. It was really helpful to know what you like to do and what you don't. At first I did WhatDoUWant2B and I got three result . The first result was Arts, Media, and Entertainment. The second result was Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation. The last result was Building Trades and Contractions. Not all of them matched what I want to be and my interest and all of them were close. It actually helps figure out the interest. I think it is one of the best way to figure out anyones interest and make it easy for them to chose a career. Then I did the assessing yourself paper. It helps you figure out your skills, strengths and personality traits. By doing it I figure out that I have interest in Realistic, Investigative, and Enterprising major. I was what I didn't even know, but found it interesting because it helped me to find my interests. Lastly I logged in to career zone again and put in the letter of my interest profile from the assessing yourself  result and print out the result. I believer  career zone is a goody way to find your interest and it helps you to know what you like to do and what you don't like to do.

Project 5

Before doing project 5 we were told to find a group of three people to work together. I decided to work with Sangye and Ramsy. After that we were assigned a number which was our group number and were assigned to research for a topic. Our topic was business system. After all that we started working on our project. We were told to create a PowerPoint, website, and report for the project. We decided to do the PowerPoint first because we thought that was the easiest one. So I did the research the next day and brought up informations. However Sangye decided to finish the PowerPoint. I planned to work on the website so I designed the wireframe. At first we planned to do the website in one way but at the last moment we changed our plan and that's the reason why we couldn't finish the website, but at least did something because something is better than nothing.

After all that Ramsy decided to fix the PowerPoint and eventhough she was late but did it really nicely. We couldn't figure out what to put one the website so we just make 3 page. First was the homepage, second was about us and last was about what topic we got. At last we did the report. I used Dreamweave, Microsoft and PowerPoint for this project. It wasn't that challenging but was troubleshooting the website. It will help me in the future to work as a team and learn how to mange time. 

How is your personal path affecting the global economy?

Personal path decides your future. Whatever you are doing now will affect you in the future. If you decide to do something good then it wil benefit you, but if you decide to do nothing then it will be terrible for you. Well I'm not say that you will starve to death, but it will be huge effective for yore future. For example if you plan to go to collage now then in the future you will be able to get better jobs with high paid, but if you decide not to then you might end up getting job in McDonald. Whatever you do now will go with you in the future.

Everyone in this world wants their future to be bright, but can't have by itself like a miracle. You got to work hard to earn that position. The more you will study and experiences you will have the more successful you can be. Well it's true some people are well educated, but if they might be less talented. For example they might go for an interview and get the job in rush with less money than they deserve and they might end up getting that but if they fight to get more then they will be more successful in the future than the other one. So whatever you will decide now will affect and go with you in the future.

Lab 16

For this lab I described my favorite teacher. where I said "Mrs Ramirez is one of my favorite teacher. I consider Mrs Ramirez as one of the sweetest and gold heart teacher in Information Technology High School. She inspires me a lot and I'm sure she inspires a lot of people to live their life and be successful. When I was a freshman I remember I had locker next to her room and I used to hear all those scream which was loude and noisy and I used to be like I will never get her class and if I do then I will drop it anyway. I thought she would be mean. Fortunately I decided to choose web design and she was the teacher and I was like god I really had to get this teacher. But honestly as the time passed by she was inspiring me more and more. I felt like doing more in life. She often tells us about her life and how she suffered, but became a successful person now. All of her words really interest me so much that I feel like if she can do that much to reach her goal then why can't I and she always tells us to reach our goal and be something big else we won't have value in this world. I have seen so many teachers in life, but having a teacher like her is like a blessing that not everyone can get and I was one of that lucky blessing girl to get her in life as a teacher." It was great explaining my favorite teacher.

Lab 15

   For this lab, I had to create a contact me button. I put my information. I am 17 years old and was born in Bangladesh. My chilhood was full of fun. I used to hang around with my friend a lot and used to get in trouble the most. I was known as the trouble maker and I was expert at solving peoples problem. I was also know as the most crybabie and angry kid. Since I was kid I always dreamed of going to abroad, but I never imagined that only I will come to American. I came to American on Febuary, 2010 and lives in queens now. I started middile school here and now I am a student in Information Technology High School. I join web deign during my sophomore year as a visual designer, then continue during my junior year as a digital design and now I'm a senior and studing web design as a web client programmer.

I used Dreamweave for this lab. This is related to to web design because this is something unique to present to a client to give them some idea about web design. This skill will help me in the future with my labs and projects. I also really liked this lab because I got chance to learn something new from this lab. It was something new and interesting for me. Also I would really love to learn something more like this in the future.

Lab 14

               For this lab, I described my favorite subject which is dance. Dance is a simple word, but for me its everything. I always loved to dance, but I don't know from when it became my favorite thing to do. Even time I'm upset or don't know what to do there I just keep dancing and dancing. If I start dancing then I get lost into it. I just feel like forgetting about what's going on around me and just get lost into the world of dance. What does it mean to me?It relies my stress and create outlet. It's my life and I consider it as my passion. If I don't dance for at least one week then I feel like something is missing and feel depressed. It's part of my life and everyday routine. If I dance then it makes me happy and I feel like I have accomplished something big. If I dance and someone appreciate it then I feel like I'm top of the world.

Lab 13

In my opinion lab 13 was totally amazing because it was something new for me. Eventhough it was made based on JQuery, but still it was something really unique and nice. First my teacher went over the code as she always does and explained us the code step by step. We basically had to create one page for it which was html and JavaScript. It seemed easy to me since I knew a bit about JQuery so I coped every code step by step and I was happy that I finished before I left for vaction.

This skill will help me in the future with my labs and projects. I also really liked this lab because I got chance to learn something new from this lab. It was something new and interesting for me.
