Project 8



Project 8 is the final project of the year. Since it's the last project so there's a lot to do. Everyone is making it unique in their all style and putting in the all works together. At first, I designed the website and thought it was good, but then I noticed that it was too colorful so it might district the audience so I changed the designed and made it simple. I believe the design I have now for my website is better. So I collected all the work and put in together. I had to create 10 business card, 10 logos, 10 ads, 15 photos, 10 animation and action script. It was a lot. Not everyone included all of the thing listed. I didn't add the ads because of short period of time. My final project wasn't as nice as the other because of the time and too much of work. I know the teacher has told us about it during the beginning of the school year, but no one has started that time because they were busy with the other labs and projects.
However, everyone tried their best to finish the final Portland make it as beautiful as they can.

All were putting their efforts to make it the best. At last I finished my project and was fair enough but could have done better. This project was the last project of the year and next year I won't be doing any project such this. I will miss doing project like this, but I tried my best to make it look nice. This project will help me a lot in the future because it teaches me how to manage time and put effort to succeed.





Project 7



Project 7 we had to either pick presidents or places to finish the website. Mostly everyone had fun while doing this project. They all were doing in a u owe style. I picked the presidents page. I thought the palaces page would be hard so I choose presidents pages instead. At first, I decided which presidents to choose since we had to choose four. I picked George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and Franklin Roosevelt. I choose them because they were one of the most popular president. Next I studied them and organized the storyboard.

I collected all the information about them and designed each and everypages. The least pages we were suppose to create was twenty. I created twenty five pages. After everything I uploaded it and submite it. I had fun while doing this project. I learned a lot about presidents while doing this project. I used Photoshop and Dreamweave for this project. It was something different from all the project. I believe this project will help me manage time in the future because there was time limited for this project.

10 facts about credit score

There are many facts about credit score but here are the top 10 facts about credit score.
1) If a person have high credit score that means they will earn more money.
2) Your credit report will drop if you settle a debt.
3) credit score and report are the different.
4) A persons credit score improves if they close their credit card.
5) If a person looks at their credit report again and again then it will lower their credit score.
6) A persons credit score will decrease if they don't pay their bills or any payments on time. 
7) A person can't have FICO credit score without credit history and for that they have to apply. 
8) Credit score affectes more than credit. 
9) Late payments are not usually reported until 30 days overdue.  
10) A person can always improve their credit score.

Interview


On April 12,2016 we participated in a mock interview. It was held by Ms. Debrah. At first when I heard about it I was really upset and mad because I didn't want to be part of it, but I had to anyway. Ms. Debrah told use to be prepare and come in a business attire. I hate business attire, but I had to wear it. Then the day came and I was nervous about what's going happen and how will I face it. Then when we entered the class we were told to search up some companies that were given to have some idea about it. Next Ms. Debrah picked four students to a how us how it will take place. After seeing my classmates interviewing style I was really excited to be part of it and do the same thing. Then we were told to pick a red or blue card where red represents the interview and blue represents the interviewer. I picked blue because I was excited to interview my classmates. So I interviewed about 6 people. After 6 interviews the interview and interviewer had to switch the position so I went up to 6 company for the interview. 

When they were interviewing me I felt like I was actually doing the real interview. I felt but confident since my classmates were taking my interview. It was such a great opportunity because I was actuality sharing my weakness and strength. Also it was really helpful for the future since we all have to go for an interview in the future. All credits goes to Ms. Debrah for giving us such opportunities. I would just like to say thank you.

Project 6



Before this project everyone in class had to do a lots of things. At first we all were assigned to research about the major that we want to see out self as in the future. I wanted to be an orthopedic so
I researched everything about it; the salary, how long does it take to become one, what is needed and etc. After researching I found it more interesting that I did before and I was like I really want to be that. After that we were told to sit with our parents at home and write down all the expense that are being spend every month or week. The reason behind it was to prepare us for the future. It will give us some idea of where and how the money is come home and how to spend it. Later on we researched more about our major. Then the next day the teacher divided the salary level into different groups within a table and whose ever salary would match they would sit there then work with the same level of salary people.

After all that we were told to build a website gives advises to people how to spend money and etc. Since we were assigned to design the web so we had to plan it out but to be honest I had no idea of what and how to design it. I was thinking for about one whole period to figure out a plan. Then I just put up something. I decided to make four page; homepage, advice page, balance budget page, and calculator page. I decided to make those page but had no idea of what to put in. Later on I decided to put a banner called finance in the homepage, menu bar and a picture. On the balance budget page I decided to put the banner, menu, and write why is it important to balance budget. The advice page I added a banner, menu bar and give advice to people of why saving money is important. Lastly one the calculator page I added a banner called welcome to the future, menu, and added a calculator. That's all I did for designing the webpage. While doing this project I had problem with everything. I didn't know what to do, how to do, how to start, etc.

I was lost and was planning at the same time. Later on I was actually done with almost everything except the calculator. No one in class had idea of how to make the calculator. We all were confused. Lastly I decided to take a screenshot of the calculator from the Google and link that to get access to that calculator. That's all I faced while doing this projects. Overall I feel like this project was great way to learn how to manager and spend. It was bit annoying and boring at first but later on it turned really great. It was really a good idea. I believe this will help me in the future because it gave us idea of how to use money and value money. Also we got change to make a website to help others and give advice to people of how to use, spend and value money. I liked doing this project and got idea of money as well.

Calculation

Today March 14, 2016 the whole class was assigned to work on our needs and wants and see the expenses result. At first I was like what is this I pay nothing so how am I suppose to do this. However I just put in $0 for everything. Then the teacher came and was like its not what you pay, it also can be what your house members pays. I was like oh then let me just do that. After that I searched for that major that I decided to pick and the yearly salary. Since I decided to study about surgeon so I figured out that they earns $519,000 per year so I was like yeah it's too much money then the teacher was like no the government will cut the tax so we all had to go to smart assets to see how much tax will the government take then when I calculated then found out that they will cut about $222,597. Then I subtracted the yearly salary with the tax and whatever I got I divided that by 12 to find out the monthly salary. Before all that we had to calculate out needs ( gas, electricity, housing, food, etc.) and wants ( shopping, vacations, etc.) and calculated the expenses. Lastly I matched my expenses with my monthly salary and check how much can I save.

Why CTE Expo is important?

CTE stands for Career Technique based on Education. CTE Expor Takes place every years. During that time Everyone have to dress up professionally. It's basically takes place for freshman. The freshman's comes and all the sophomore, juniors, and seniors tells them about their technology class. We all have to explain the freshman really clearly and nicely with all the details so they could understand what is that class about, what we do, how is it and much more things. 

That day turns into like we are the businessmans and women's who are trying to sell their product to the client. We had to stand in a position with our projects and labs with confident and had to give good impression to the freshman's so they could understand what we are saying. So CTE Expo is important because by that all the freshman get chance to know and learn about the technology that their schools helds so they could have/get the opportunity to select that technology for their high school career. It is really interesting because during that day students explains other students about the technology that their school helds and students can understand and communicate in best way if they hear the exact meaning of something from the other students so it was really best way to explain the freshmans about the technology that they should and deserve to select in the future. 

Also by gelding CTE Expo it helps and it is easier for the freshman to choose which technology they want to choose  and which one is better for them. It is a great opportunity for the freshman to learn about the technology from the students and teachers. They gets the chance to see the past projects and labs that the students did and by showing these works the freshman might get more interest for selecting that academy. I find CTE really interesting, but I kind of feel embarrassed while explaining the freshman, but I don't let them feel that I'm uncomfortable I present my academy to them with confident and proudly.
